The “Seed Capital Assistance Facility”, SCAF, is an intranet application, with some nice looking external pages, that tracks the progress of environmental projects in Africa and Asia that were awarded substantial funding by outside donors.
Fund recipients enter detailed progress reports, from which, through complicated formulas, performance indicators are computed that help the donors to evaluate progress.
I developed the whole site, with lots of custom programming for the reporting. One of the special feature here was that a whole business process had to be captured and converted into code, that implements SCAFs multi layered financial tracking system.
